"The first person I went out with from Hotmail Classifieds, some one who offered friendship and companionship when there was none ..."

Andrew

When I read his mails, I came to the conclusion that he was an indian. How wrong I was, he was chinese.

Andrew was the first guy I got to know online. Then, I was in my third year in the university. Jennyfer, my coursemate introduced me to surfing and matchmaking services. I just put out an ad in Hotmail Classifieds and Andrew was one of the very first to answer.

He was a bankrupt.

Why? Well, when he was working in Singapore, he was introduced to the wonderful world of credit cards. Andrew enjoyed life to the fullest and very soon he was paying off his interest instead of his bills. His lawyers advised him to declare bankruptcy after which he promptly came back to Malaysia.

He told me many things, about his life, about sex and would accompany me to the movies. But never for a moment did he take or try to take advantage of me.

Yes, I was attracted to him but somehow it didn't seem like he was and we went our separate ways. He went off to Brunei and then Thailand, where his heart is.

For Andrew, life is to be lived and we should give thanks for all the things we have that we deem small and insignificant. We are all spirits, we are here to learn to be human.
