Quote:

"Children have more need of models than of critics."

-- Joseph Joubert --

"Live life as it should be,
See with the eyes of a child,
Hear every beat of life ,
Feel from deep within the heart
And smell the breath of love and life
Every second of the day."

Chinese New Year came and passed ... so did Valentine's Day. So what would I send to my boyfriend so far away, a colleague asked. Well, an e-card, I suppose.

E-cards. They are so common nowadays. All you need to do is go to the website, pick out an image or animation that you like, select music, a stamp, a poem if you like, add some words of your own and hey, you have created an e-card of your own ... don't forget to click submit!

No, I am not suggesting anything. To each their own. As for me, I sent him a card, a card I created on my own, something I crafted with my hands, not in virtual reality. It's not something outstanding. If that someone loves you, it does not matter whether the card is fantastic and out of this world but at least it was physically created by you. Even if you had printed it, it was still done and handled physically.

But if you are short of time and all you can send is an e-card, then do so ... as long as it is appreciated but just think, would you love it if you received an e-card for special occasions from that special someone?
