"Friendships can pop up anytime and in a short span of time. It can happen over a love of crosswords like my friendship with Joan. All the best, wherever you are."

Joan wrote this poem

I have an ex-colleague by the name of Joan Lee. How we became friends is a long story and in a short span of time. We became sort of crossword buddies and we would spent some lunch breaks in the office working on crosswords on her laptop.

Well, Joan is kind of pretty and sweet in her own way but a little on the plump side. Did I forget to mention she also has a sarcastic nature but in a friendly sort of way and sometimes one can't help but feel she is not serious about anything.

Anyway one day, I showed her this site and she read the short poems of introduction. So when I asked her if she could write a better one, this was what she sat down to write:

Here we once sat
Together when we met
Crossword puzzle puzzles me
But it keeps you highly crossed

Off to toilet there you pee
Into the opening jaws of the toilet bowl
Make sure you remove your pants before you let go
Else, your poor colleague will swim in your sea

Writing is your favourite eh?
Well, reading is definitely not my favourite
How we can get together so well I don't know
So help you god when you walk out that door

Joan Lee

And after she was finished, another colleague had this to say, " Only Joan could come up with a verse so gross." But Joan, I have to say that I will miss the times we spent on the crosswords as in two weeks time, I leave for another company. So wherever you are and whatever you do, I wish you the very best!
